Open Science 2020: Harmonizing Current OA practices with H2020 Guidelines

This article presents workshop 'Open Science 2020: Harmonizing Current OA practices with H2020 Guidelines' hosted by ISTI-CNR, Pisa, Italy 8th April 2014. Workshop's mission was to outline the response from Italian research community to requirements of the European Commission 'Guidelines on Open Access to Scientific Publications and Research Data under Horizon 2020'. Contributions from a large number of participants covered different aspects of Open Access, Open Data and Open Science, outlining initiatives and proposed solutions from various research institutions and universities, verifying whether and how they can contribute to support H2020 Guidelines and Open Research Data Pilot. The panel discussion was dedicated to identify what technological, legal, economic and policy gaps to be overcome, and how to harmonize national solutions on Open 'data-driven' Science with those at European level.
