980nm high power index-guided (Phase) coherent parabolic bow-tie laser arrays

The theoretical and experimental characterisation of high power, coherent laser arrays are presented. Optical output powers in excess of 2.8W/facet are achieved in a nearly-diffraction-limited beam, measured without lenses, corresponding to 275MWcm(-2) srad(-1) brightness.
