Abstract:
The environment pollution and the associated consequences for health risk in the context of a geographic Information System (GIS) is discussed. The GIS method presented here provides a solution to pollutant concentration. It integrates the basic mathematical model for air-soil pollution into a GIS framework. A case study demonstrates its capability to data analysis and to obtain the environment pollutant concentration. It could be integrated into a planning framework to support the environmental decision making.
