The use of green chemistry for the recovery of nutraceuticals from olive tissues

Abstract:
High-value active principles can be recovered from olive tissues by using green chemistry principles. Three different types of water were used in the extraction protocols. The recovered active compounds were identified and quantified by LC-ESI-MS/MS.
