Italian Regionalism: Between Unitary Traditions and Federal Processes

Edited Book
Publication Date:
2014
abstract:
This book looks into the Constitutional revision of 1999-2001 and concerns Regionalism at a time when the new economic crisis, which began in the late 2007, has deeply changed the relation between individuals, society, and institutions and between the latter, not only in Italy but also in other Countries. In the arduous attempt to explain to a wider audience than on the inside, basically European , if not international , institutional transformations of the form of Italian State, the essays collected in this volume convey a clear and comprehensive view of the Italian literature on these issues and constitute also the groundwork for further deepening.
