The observation of damage caused by an earthquake is different in the same city. The cause is to be found both in the structures of the buildings and in the sedimentary stratigraphy of the geological deposits. Seismic microzonation is a tool for assessing the danger associated with geological risks in urban areas, it is also a support for territorial planning and for the prevention of seismic risk. The objective of the work concerned the creation of a management system for the identification of homogeneous zones in a seismic perspective in the the Municipalities of the Province of Foggia according to the specifications of "Indirizzi e criteri per la microzonazione sismica (Working Group MS 2008)" . The final product was the creation of an ESRI® geodatabase developed in ARCMap ® containing the subsoil data, the areas of the geo-lithological outcrops and the homogeneous microzones areas in a simic perspective accompanied by the relative cartographic layouts of the selected urban territories.
