abstract:
The paper investigates a particular kind of trigonometric
interpolating wavelets, arising by an opportune discretization
of the de la Vallée Poussin operator. Wavelet compression
is analysed, and estimates of the interpolating error
are given in Lp-norms and in Besov-norms.
