Nanoparticles and nanocomposites in electrochemical sensing area

Academic Article
Publication Date:
2014
abstract:
In the last decades, gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) have received an increasing attention due to their unique physical and chemical properties, which make them of considerable interest for applications in many fields, such as biotechnology, optics, electronics and catalysis. In this paper, we present study on the design of different-AuNPs nanocomposites, with tailored morphological properties as sensing platform able to interact directly and specifically with molecules of biological interest. To prepare these materials, we have used a facile and green route which allows tuning the morphological and electrochemical properties of AuNPs, stabilized in different dispersing media
