abstract:
Diode laser spectroscopy of water vapor has been performed in the near IR and the pressure broadening coefficients in nitrogen and in air have been measured for one ro-vibrational line. Detection of water vapor in the
atmosphere has been obtained and an evaluation of the sensitivity of our apparatus is reported. Discussion for further improvements is made.
