A long territorial dispute over control of a part of the Nurra has seen the cities of Alghero and Sassari opposited for more than four centuries. The event has been reconstructed through various documentary sources. The exceptional presence of a mapping system in support of the instances of Alghero makes this slice of local history even more interesting.
