Correlation effects in the valence shells of ZnCl2: a synchrotron radiation photoemission study
Academic Article
Publication Date:
1994
abstract:
The outer and inner valence shells of ZnCl, are investigated by gas-phase synchrotron radiation photoemission. The branching
ratios for the outer valence levels are reported in the photon energy region between 40 and 60 eV. The inner valence spectral
features are observed for the first time. The most intense spectral structures of this region are assigned either to states with main
character of Cl 3s or to Zn 3d satellites.
