Finding of the Codium fragile subsp. fragile (Chlorophyta, Bryopsidales) alien seaweed in the Miseno Lake transitional water system (southern Italy): an update of its distribution in Italy and in the Mediterranean Sea

The alien seaweed Codium fragile subsp. fragile is reported for the first time along the Campania coasts in the transitional water system Miseno Lake. Thalli were collected on artificial substrata in September 2013. The most likely vector of introduction is the transport of mussels for aquaculture and live sale
