abstract:
In this work we explain syntetically the INSEAN database of the geometrical characteristics and experimental results concerning ship models. The database is also able to record the full scale and CFD results. Finally we illustrate simple query programs that point out the efficiency of the SQL (Structured Query Language) of the relational database.
