Logic and computing. The underlying basis of digital archaeology. Proceedings of the MetroArchaeo 2019 Special Session, 2019 IMEKO TC-4 International Conference on Metrology for Archaeology and Cultural Heritage (Florence, 4-6 December 2019)

On the occasion of the 5th International Conference on Metrology for Archaeology and Cultural Heritage, held in Florence under the initiative of the University of Florence and the University of Sannio, a special session was organised by the Institute for Heritage Science of the Italian National Research Council. The session was dedicated to the interaction between logic and computing as a benchmark in the history of computer applications in archaeology, a topic closely related to the Conference aims.
