abstract:
Micro-photogrammetry is a new tool based on principle of photogrammetry, and developed to investigate small size of surface. This technique can generate a 3D model of the surface simply acquiring a sequence of three images by a prefixed position using a common digital camera appropriately calibrated and a dedicated software. The micro-photogrammetry is a portable and non-invasive system for monitoring artistic and architectural surfaces, allowing the evaluation of the conservation state of artistic objects, and the effectiveness of restoration works
